How much fun is it to make Chocolate Covered Pretzels?
I love how you can easily make these for any holiday with really any kind of chocolate and sprinkles.
Around Christmas we like to make them with white chocolate and Christmas sprinkles.
For this recipe I used Baker’s chocolate bar. It would easily work with chocolate chips, chocolate bark or melting chocolates. I just like the simplicity of the chocolate bar.
I have found that the easiest way to melt chocolate is to add a little bit of coconut oil to it and place it in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring after each time. This website has some great ideas on how to melt chocolate as well.
My kids love to make treats around Halloween. So chocolate covered pretzels are perfect since they are easy to make and not too unhealthy.
For these pretzels we used pretzel dipping sticks, but they can easily be made with regular pretzels or pretzel rods.
We like to use the dipping sticks because they are bite size!
One of the most important things when making chocolate covered pretzels is to make sure you are using parchment paper. This will make the whole process much easier!
I love that the kids can make these pretzels almost by themselves and they have so much fun doing it! Mess and all!
