Who doesn’t love homemade chocolate chip cookies? They always give me “warm fuzzies” when I make them because they remind me of the holidays. But what about EASY peanut butter Chocolate chip cookies?
Lately my daughter has been asking to make peanut butter cookies. So I thought to myself, since we are huge peanut butter fans and we all love chocolate chip cookies, why not combine the two and make some easy peanut butter chocolate chip cookies!?
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the recipe was. It didn’t take very long. And I already had all the ingredients I needed! And guess what?! They are delicious!! Everyone in our house enjoyed them with a big glass of milk.
One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it made a ton of cookies, so I had enough to give to family and friends.
You can make the cookies bigger or smaller depending on your preference. I also think they would be really good with chocolate chunks instead of regular chocolate chips.
I did feel like they turned out to be a little denser than I would have liked. The next time I make them I think I will add another egg and see if that helps.
These easy peanut butter chocolate chip cookies would be so amazing with this homemade vanilla ice cream!
I will definitely be making these for the holidays along with our traditional chocolate chip cookies!

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter or 2 sticks (softened)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg or 2 smaller eggs
1 3/4 cups chocolate chips or chocolate chunks (more if desired)
- preheat oven to 375
- mix flour and baking soda together
- set aside
- beat butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth
- slowly add in flour/baking soda mixture
- stir in chocolate chips
- bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
baking time will vary according to size of cookies
